Never ending projects
1974 XS650
This '74 XS650 was Ben's first personally owned cafe. It was named the Wicked Stepchild because of it's ratrod styling with screaming exhaust and torquey power.
The rigid frame had some welding modifications from our pal Kenny to make the seat narrow and beautifully accommodate the bobber seat. It's lowrider feel was perfect for one of our female clients.

The Yamaha XS650
The Yamaha XS650 is one of our top two platforms. It's like the perfect pair of jeans...dress it up or throw on a T-shirt and converse. We've ratted them out, made them cafes, a bobber and even added a sissy bar to one. They're tried and true and one of a kind!
THe BMW AIRHead
Perhaps it's our German roots, but we have a thing for German vehicles and the Airhead is definitely our other favorite platform. The engineering of them was spot on from the beginning. They are very reliable, sound amazing and ride like a dream! And a huge plus, brand new parts are still being made for them here in the US.
After our first BMW build, Ben knew he had to have one of these fine machines. This gentleman's and gentle lady's ride is head turner!

The Honda CB
One of the NEC flagships is the Honda CB...we have loved on 350s, 400s, 550s, 750s. Our favorites have been the 750 Fours and 400 Super Sports. They have made it to several shows and are a great cafe racer platform. You can find our Honda builds literally from coast to coast.
other projects we love
Some of our favorite projects are the small ones. Adding small touches, electrical work or a little powder coat to make someone's bike more personal to them. And it's not just motorcycles
...scooters and even ATVs have been bettered by NEC!
This Ducati Monster came to us almost ready to be sold. Instead we made the owner fall in love with again by getting it running well, upgrading the lights and reupholstering the seat.
This little vintage Honda scooter had rich family history and was fun to get running properly.
A tribute to his first bike, it was the very same given to him by his daughter and son in law. Needed a little tweaking and it was good to go!
